The process we undertake
Once we have a credible emissions measurement captured across the business, we're able to put a science-based carbon reduction plan together. In order to do this, we usually follow the below process:
Boundaries & Methodology Verification:
We check and note what elements of your business measurement have been assumed, else excluded. This is important, as we may choose to include elements else modify the measurement methodology in future years.
Emissions Hotspot Identification:
We identify where the emissions hotspots sit across your business value chain.
Reduction Scenario Modelling:
We build at least 3 separate scenarios to reduce your emissions from your baseline year. Each of these different scenarios combine different reduction activities over time, each sitting under the Science-Based Targets initiative.
Scenario Selection:
We choose the prefered scenario together. The scenarios largely relate to how ambitious the business wants to be. This is the point at which we ensure the business is clear on what needs to be done.
Implementation Plan:
We put together a long-term plan to implement your emissions reductions.
Reporting & Engagement:
We build all the public reporting needed, along with engaging your stakeholder ecosystem.
